I Know My Business

I started out as a real estate agent when interest rates were 18%! Through that experience I found that I enjoyed and understood the financial side of home buying and moved through a series of jobs that deepened my knowledge: for a lender where my role was to check loan packages to make sure each was complete; in secondary marketing, in loan processing, where I put the file together for the underwriter; as a loan closer, making sure the numbers on both the buyers’ and the sellers’ side of the ledger were correct. I have worked in each phase of the loan process from both sides of the table. I understand it inside and out.

It’s All I Do

Now I make my living solely and full time as an independent mortgage broker or loan originator. I work directly with you, as my client, and become your link to a lender that will finance your mortgage based on the specific needs of your financial situation. I don’t need to shop around because I know and understand all the mortgage programs currently available; indeed I work directly with the lending sources that have the best rates, bringing my 15 years’ experience to benefit you.

Continuing Education

In addition to my experience, I update my knowledge through 40 hours of continuing education per year. I am also a registered financial consultant (RFC) specializing in mortgages and a specialist in reverse mortgages for seniors. For those with damaged credit, I can instruct you on the appropriate steps to take to repair your FICO score.

Ethical
  • I practice the highest ethics when working with clients. Truly, I couldn’t sleep at night if I put you into a loan that I knew you couldn’t afford in the future. This is what happened and will continue to happen through 2008 as we ride the wave of the current mortgage loan fiasco.

  • I don’t post mortgage interest rates on my website, because they can fluctuate daily and because your specific financial picture may not warrant the lowest possible rates.
